Bangalore, July 7, 2005: Bosch Security Systems GmbH in Ottobrunn, Germany, a member of the Bosch Group, acquired ADC Technologies International Pte Ltd, headquartered in Singapore with offices in Malaysia, and China. It is expected to take effect
on August, 1st 2005.

Founded in 1986, ADC has established itself as a reputable manufacturer of access control equipment and as a provider of total security management solutions to major markets in Asia. ADC has Research & Development, Systems Engineering, and Project Management
teams in Singapore. In 2004, ADC realized a turnover of 6,5 million EUR with 133 employees, mainly in Singapore.

Bosch Security Systems remains committed to its strategy of developing a global presence and the acquisition of ADC will enable Bosch to expand its security products offering, notably in the area of access control and building integration products.

In Asia Pacific, Bosch Security Systems currently has more than 750 employees and operates 26 sales offices in 15 countries. “With this acquisition, we will bring cutting edge technology, innovative products and competency in project support to satisfy the present and future needs of our customers in Asia,” says Philippe Huinck, Vice President, Bosch Security Systems Asia Pacific. “We will continue our strategy of working through our distribution partners in Asia. Next to that, in Singapore, we will also do project design, installation and maintenance services to support and expand the existing ADC customers base,” says Huinck.
