Procurement International India (CP/PII) located in Bangalore India involves in identifying and developing suppliers of International quality in India for Robert Bosch Plants world wide for exports.
CP/PII is a member of C orporate P urchasing ( CP ) located at Germany. This network consists of other Purchasing offices : Procurement International China and North East Asia (CP/PIN): Shanghai, Taiwan and Procurement International Thailand and South East Asia ( CP/PIA ) : Bangkok, Malaysia, Vietnam.
Machined Cold Extrusions, Machined Castings, Sub assemblies and wire harnesses are some of the major material groups being exported from PII.
CP/PII responsibiliy focuses on Supplier development programs to meet the stringent quality requirements of world wide automotive industry and prepare a platform to instill confidence in the RB customers to increase sourcing from India.
To examine changing market trend, new technology and impact of competition CP/PII is supporting Purchasing Emerging Market ( PEM) of Bosch and also regular exchange of information with Central Purchase meets ( EKS), Commodity team meet (GPMT) and meetings with other IPOs.
