Started in 1970, this division has grown in size and stature to emerge as the front-runner in the industry. Thanks to collaborations with Witzig & Frank, Germany, Supfina Grieshaber GmbH, Germany, Maschinenfabrik Gehring GmbH, Germany and Erwin Junker Maschinenfabrik GmbH, Germany, it is breaking new ground using cutting-edge technologies.

Spread over an area of 14 hectares in Bangalore, the division boasts of highly qualified, skilled and trained professionals. All technicians are inducted after a three-year intensive theoretical and practical training in areas like hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronics & computers at the in-house modern Vocational Training Centre. Design personnel are highly qualified graduate & post-graduate engineers with expertise in mechanical & electrical disciplines. They are exposed to latest developments through technology seminars and interactions with manufacturers and collaborators, from time to time.

The fact that over 2000 SPMs and test equipment manufactured by this division are operating successfully at all MICO plants and other automotive industries is a testimony to the division's outstanding track record.
