ECC is a department in the Engineering Section for Emerging Co-operations. The department is responsible for providing engineering services support to other Bosch units world wide, specifically the non-automotive GBs. The ECC department is a Center of Competence for Configuration Software for Security Panels, PLC programming and applications. In addition the department has technical expertise in embedded systems, machine vision and image processing, factory automation, communication systems, video systems and OPC related applications. The technology bandwidth of the department is quite broad and the projects are usually in cutting-edge technology in the Industrial Automation, Security technology and Thermal technology domains. ECC has successfully executed projects in all the above related areas.
