Remotely monitored household appliances
With serve@Home, you immediately know when something is wrong with your household appliances – before any flooding or other serious damage happens. The InfoModul from Bosch reports on the current status of the networked household appliances and produces a warning signal. That makes your daily life safer and more convenient. Just connect the module to the mains supply and relax. The rest will happen all by itself.

Household appliances that report faults automatically are not just a vision for Bosch, they have long become reality in serial production with serve@Home. The oven, cooker, extractor fan, dryer, refrigerator, freezer and air conditioner report on their current status to the InfoModul using the home mains network. The module immediately displays all the information in clear text. That means you can always keep an eye on your house-
hold appliances.

InfoModul: Always up to date
This handy and easily operated electronic module reports on the status of household appliances, for instance "Washing machine: Program finished."

In addition to routine information, the device also reports on processes that require action by you: If faults occur, such as
a "Temperature alarm!" (if the refrigerator temperature is too high) or "Child protection activated" (when a child plays with the cooker's buttons), acoustic and visual signals are produced to ensure you can respond immediately. The loudness of the warning signal can naturally be adjusted.

And best of all: You can take the InfoModul with you everywhere in the house: Simply stick it into the mains socket and the latest information can be accessed at any time. That saves you unnecessary journeys to check your household appliances.

Networked with the system interface
Household appliances must be networked to communicate with serve@Home. Every device needs a system interface which is fitted into the designated slot on the household appliance. All data are displayed clearly and simply by the InfoModul. Cables are not needed: The InfoModul and your household appliances use the existing mains network to communicate.

It is good to know that your household is safer and easier to manage with serve@Home.
