Everything under control
A perfect landing, perfectly programmed
As a child, aerospace engineer Erich Klein wanted to fly to the stars. It’s not quite time for lift-off, though. He and his team are in Hawaii to simulate the safe landing of sensitive measuring equipment on the red planet for NASA’s 2020 mission to Mars. Helping them do so are a helium balloon, and a swing jib featuring Bosch Rexroth technology.
